Depending on what non-game processes you have going on, "RAM Usage" should still be well below 16GB at this point.Īs the benchmark loads a series of different maps/areas, the RAM used by the game (i.e., "RAM Usage \ process") will gradually go up, likely from ~8.5GB at the start of the benchmark to something closer to 9.5 or 10GB, by the end. When the benchmark starts, assuming you have all settings (including RT) at maximum and you're at 1440p native, the game itself will probably be using about 8.5GB of system RAM (as indicated by "RAM Usage \ process"). I'm on 32GB of system RAM so maybe others can step in with better advice, but if you haven't already, I would download the Forspoken demo and use the benchmark along with monitoring software (in Afterburner: monitor "RAM Usage" and "RAM Usage \ process", as shown here). You mean tell me y’all Platinumed Spider-Man which I consider one of the best fluid movement systems in an open world, did all those random crime pop-ups, but this game was too sluggish and repetitive? I’m not having it. I love those games too but at least this one takes chances in its combat, in its magic skill trees, in navigating across the world. All the jokes about of “she’s abrasive” and look at that fade to black, and horrid narrative presentation - the funniest thing is the movement and combat are going to outlast all the Horizons, ACs, Ghost, whatever. ![]() This combat and traversal in a healthy mix and utilized properly - this is going to be lasting. While the gameplay mechanics also, slow and cumbersome ten years ago continue to be criticized even in the highest of praise. But even as we all get older, the cinematic and presentational things we loved in something like Red Dead Redemption can be antiquated by a sequel years later. I’m a player that likes my immersion and world building, probably more than most. I also think it needs to be stated - this game is getting disregarded, and I can’t wait in five years for the Dragon’s Dogma levels of realization and appreciation.įor all these attempts to decry it as the most bland and repetitive open world game, the irony is all of them, no matter how polished have a degree of repetition, open bland space and ill advised structure. You can main it in about 12 hours and are not forced into boring side missions to pad it. There is no filler in the main story (outside of 5 mins where you are forced to feed some sheep and another 10 where you are forced to go on a tour of the town or some nonsense). I found the game refreshing in how quick it gets you into the action. You can easily skip those parts with no issue. And that was me going through every option too. This is true in some cases, and it is annoying, but in the 13 or so hours it took me to complete it, there were probably about 10 mins total where I was standing and talking to cuff. A big thing talked about in some reviews was how you cannot walk and talk at the same time. ![]() It just seems journalists were finding ways to hate this. It takes a very shite AAA game to get under a 70 on metacritic. There are problems with the game, but to see this with a 65 on metacritic is just crazy to me. Mechanically, one of the best games I have played in a while. And for proof, these photos.Finished at about 13 hours. Also, they point out that although the open world is very empty, it is beautiful. The main thing that is getting cheers is the parkour of the protagonist, which is very fun -and here we can attest, we have already spent several hours with the adventure. Along with these there is also a lot of praise. In fact, the game does such strange things as pausing at times to force the conversation, i.e., not only does it not play in the background, but it interrupts the gameplay.īut there are not only complaints about the game as we say. "Silent protagonists are outdated and never work" mfs when I show them Forspoken: /UOISj6usk8- Jade □️⚧️ January 23, 2023Īs a result of this type of tweets -the first of them has more than 35,000 likes-, users are criticizing the game’s dialogues -those that follow this scheme are common- and the fact that the bracelet does not stop talking.
